Message from the Mayor

Welcome to the Village of Ashcroft Web Site. I encourage you to scan our site.

Our Mission Statement says: Ashcroft is a welcoming, safe and attractive community characterized by an exceptional climate and a strong sense of history and opportunity. There is no doubt that this is true. Ashcroft is a wonderful place to live and a very welcoming community.

Ashcroft is open for business; we welcome new initiatives and encourage growth within the business community.

The Village of Ashcroft offers a wide range of services to residents and visitors alike. These include seasonal facilities such as an ice arena, swimming pool, and soccer/baseball fields. Come and camp in Legacy Park on the banks of the Thompson River. Visit our museum which is considered one of the best in small town BC. Experience the history of Ashcroft with a "Walk Through Time" in our Heritage Place Park. With our hot, dry summers, and mild winters we are a special oasis and should not be missed!

Centrally located we are just an hour from Kamloops and three hours from the Lower Mainland, Ashcroft is close enough to the city but far enough away to preserve a peaceful small town community atmosphere.

The future of Ashcroft is full of opportunity. I encourage you to visit our community and see for yourself why those who come for a short time often stay a lifetime.

I welcome you to contact us for more information.
